Ruth Harris
Solicitor - Real Estate
Practice Areas
Property-related Electronic Communications
Profile
Ruth joined BrookStreet des Roches in 2006 having already worked
with the firm for many years in the role of in-house lawyer at
Cable & Wireless UK. Ruth began her career as a commercial
property lawyer, specialising mainly in business leases and general
commercial property, before moving in-house.
For the past 16 years Ruth has developed her specialisation in
property telecoms/electronic communications. As an in-house lawyer
for much of that time, Ruth is well placed to understand her
client's business needs and her style very much centres on
providing practical and commercial solutions around and within the
legal constraints. A tenacious approach assists in meeting the
client's needs, as does being seen as part of the client team.
She is considered a leading authority on the Electronic
Communications Code.
