Profile
Joe joined BrookStreet des Roches in February 2011, bringing
over 25 years' experience in the construction sector. He offers
advice on the construction law aspects of: commercial real estate
development, investment and use; infrastructure projects; all types
of contracts and project procurement, including building contracts,
EPC contracts, standard industry contract forms, consultant
appointments, security documentation, supply contracts, operation
contracts, purchase orders, and the like; dispute resolution,
including mediation, adjudication, litigation and arbitration.
Joe has an MSc in Construction Law and Dispute Resolution from
King's College London. He is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of
Arbitrators, a member of the Society of Construction Law, a member
of the Adjudication Society and a committee member of King's
College Construction Law Association.

- Acted for the developer in respect of the redevelopment of high specification offices at 78 St James Street London with complex issues involving a listed building to the front and connected new build to the rear for sole tenant HSB Private Banking
- Acted for the developer in relation to the development of mixed use schemes of residential and commercial high rise in east London and in South London, the latter involving a venture with a Residential Social Landlord for affordable housing
- Acted for the owner/developer in relation to the redevelopment of the Oval cricket ground
- Acted for the owners/developers in respect of the development and operation of a number of gas turbine and hydro power stations in UK, Europe and in Asia
