Commercial Real Estate
Profile
Hugh joined the firm in 1997 as a real estate partner. He has
particular responsibility for major long standing clients Cable
& Wireless, 3M and H Young Holdings (the `Animal' brand). He
was appointed Senior Partner in 2005 and Managing Partner in 2010.
Before taking on the full time managing partner role, Hugh
specialised in HQ relocations, landlord and tenant work and
electronic communications.
Hugh is now responsible for the positioning and reputation of
the firm as a major national real estate player. He takes a
particular interest in hiring good lawyers and helping them to
develop their potential. Hugh adopts a deceptively laid-back
approach but has an insatiable appetite for improvement and
business development.
